USC Fulbright evaluation deadline this Sunday! We’ll be live on our story at 4pm PST today to answer final questions.

Luann Raposo '19 received a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from USC. Luann was a Fulbright ETA in 2019-2020 in Logroño, Spain. Her advice: "Don't over-complicate your essays. Explicitly explain how your past experiences and qualifications have led you to this moment in applying for a Fulbright in your specific country."

Luann's community engagement involved introducing 6th graders to community problem solving and coding.

Fulbright Friday!

Rafael Maarek '19 served as an ETA in the Czech Republic. Advice for Fulbright applicants: "Try to talk to someone who did a Fulbright in the country you're interested in. Each program is different, so each one looks for different qualities in applicants. Also, many countries with specialized schools like the Czech Republic look for students with nontraditional academic backgrounds. My boss told me the commission was sold on my application the second they saw I was an engineer since many technical schools like the ones I'm teaching at want ETAs."
