It is with heavy hearts that we learned today of the Supreme Court’s decision to give the states complete authority to decide the reproductive health options of so many people. We want to take a minute today to recognize that abortion is health care, and that bodily autonomy is a fundamental human right.

Unfortunately, once states begin to constrict and completely ban abortion, options for support are limited to the decisions our government decides to make to intervene. However, there are some options available, such as receiving abortion pills by mail. More information on this can be found .health. Additionally, supporting your local reproductive health clinic is extremely important during this time.

Today is a sad day for people everywhere with female reproductive organs. Take a moment to do something kind for yourself.

Congratulations to our Delta Sister, Citlalli Gonzalez Alvarez, for graduating with her Bachelor’s Degree in Public Policy!

Citlalli graduated Cum Laude with Departmental Honors and the Dean’s Senior Merit Award!

Her favorite KDChi memory was traveling to Monterrey Bay for Regionals in 2020: “From driving, going to dinner, and staying together at the hotel, everything was so much fun. Those memories will always bring me lots of joy and laughter.” -Citlalli

Congratulations to our Delta Sibling, Leslie Mateo, for graduating with her Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Mathematics!

Leslie graduated with her minor in Business Finance and Applied Analytics as a Latino Alumni Association Scholar. She plans on working full time as a tax transfer pricing associate for KPMG.

Leslie’s favorite KDChi memory was her new member presentation which happened on her birthday! 🥳
