Instrumental Music Director Position Available- North East School of the Arts- “NESA”
North East School of the Arts is the Fine Arts Magnet School of NEISD and is housed at the LEE High School Campus. They are looking for an outstanding new Instrumental Music Director! Students perform multiple concerts each year, serve as a pit orchestra for large scale musical productions, compete in the TMEA audition process, and much more. Applicants should be proficient in brass, woodwind, strings, and guitar methods as well as comfortable with advanced music theory and music arranging. The Johnson Band is looking for an outstanding new Head Band Director to lead this storied program. Johnson HS is located in San Antonio, Texas and has a nearly 20-year history of success. The Johnson Band Program includes an award-winning Marching Band, four concert bands, a competitive color guard, jazz band, and more! The band is a consistent UIL 6A State Marching qualifier and a TMEA State Honor Band Finalist. They have been featured at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, the Tournament of Roses Parade and much more. Come be a part of our Fine Arts Family!
