The Macomb (MI) Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated, is committed to fostering educational excellence and supporting the next generation of scholars through its Guide Right program. Each Guide Right College Book Scholarship, valued at $500, is designed to assist graduating high school seniors from the Class of 2025 who reside in Macomb County by providing financial support for college textbooks and academic resources.
We encourage academic achievement, leadership, and community involvement among young men and women pursuing higher education. By alleviating some of the financial burden associated with college, we aim to empower students to focus on their studies and achieve their academic and career goals.
Application Submission Requirements
Applicants must submit:
1.A completed application form.
2.A 300-word essay on: How will this scholarship help you achieve your educational and career goals?”.
3.Two letters of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, mentor, or community leader.
4.Proof of college acceptance (acceptance letter and enrollment confirmation).
5.A copy of their high school transcript verifying GPA.
