True to his demonstrated commitment to transparency, accountability, and fiscal responsibility, Sovereign Grand Commander Dr. Corey D. Hawkins, Sr., Esq., 33°, in Executive Session directed the fiduciary officers of the United Supreme Council to present their annual reports before the assembled leadership during the 140th Annual Session in Birmingham, Alabama.

The Grand Secretary-General, H.E., Grand Treasurer-General, H.E., Grand Auditor-General, and outside auditor delivered comprehensive reports detailing the financial condition, operational performance, and overall fiscal posture of the United Supreme Council.

The presentations highlighted historic growth, positive financial progress, and continued organizational stability, reflecting the results of responsible stewardship, sound fiscal management, and a commitment to safeguarding the resources entrusted to this great institution.

Under the leadership of Sovereign Grand Commander Hawkins, the United Supreme Council continues to demonstrate that financial accountability is not merely an administrative obligation—it is a fundamental responsibility of leadership.

Under the distinguished leadership of Sovereign Grand Commander Dr. Corey D. Hawkins, Sr., Esq., 33°, the Chiefs of Exalted Masonry convened in Executive Session during the 140th Annual Session of the United Supreme Council, Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Prince Hall Affiliation, Southern Jurisdiction, U.S.A.

The assembly brought together the Elected Officers, Deputies for the Orients, Appointed Officers, and Sovereign Grand Inspectors General to deliberate upon the important business of the United Supreme Council and chart its continued progress.

The reports and proceedings reflected an organization moving forward with purpose, highlighting:

Financial Growth and Stewardship: Continued progress in strengthening the financial position and long-term sustainability of the United Supreme Council.

Membership Growth: Positive developments in membership and the continued advancement of Prince Hall Scottish Rite Masonry.

Charitable and Educational Initiatives: An enduring commitment to philanthropy, education, community engagement, and service to humanity.

International Recognition: Continued efforts to expand the recognition, influence, and presence of Prince Hall Scottish Rite Masonry throughout the world.

Among the significant highlights of the Executive Session was the advancement of distinguished leaders within the jurisdiction.

The United Supreme Council celebrated the coronation of three Deputies for the Orients as Sovereign Grand Inspectors General (Active), 33°:

SGIG Robert J. Eagle Spirit, Sr. — California

SGIG Oliver Day — Nevada

SGIG Hector Noel — Oklahoma

Additionally, SGIG Emanuel J. Stanley, 33°, Grand Recording Secretary, was reclassified to Full Active status, further strengthening the leadership of the United Supreme Council.

These milestones represent far more than individual honors. They reflect the United Supreme Council's commitment to leadership development, institutional continuity, responsible governance, and the preservation and advancement of our Scottish Rite heritage.

Brotherhood is more than what we say. It is demonstrated by what we do to protect one another.

Recognizing the significant impact that prostate cancer continues to have on men, families, and communities across the nation, the United Supreme Council, Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Prince Hall Affiliation, Southern Jurisdiction, USA, once again demonstrated its commitment to men's health by making FREE prostate cancer screening opportunities available during its 140th Annual Session in Birmingham, Alabama.

Leading by personal example, Sovereign Grand Commander Dr. Corey D. Hawkins, Sr., 33°, and Dr. Eugene Anderson, Jr., President of the Conference of Grand Masters Prince Hall Masons, Inc., joined by other distinguished national and international leaders, Sovereign Grand Inspectors General (SGIGs), Grand Inspectors General (GIGs), and Sublime Princes (SPs) in participating in this important health initiative.

Their participation delivered a powerful message: True leadership means taking responsibility not only for the welfare of others but also for our own health and well-being.

Prostate cancer remains a serious health concern, particularly among African American men, who experience disproportionately higher rates of diagnosis and mortality. Awareness, informed screening decisions, early detection, and timely medical intervention can make a life-saving difference.

By providing access to screening opportunities during its Annual Sessions, the United Supreme Council continues to demonstrate that our commitment to improving the lives of our members extends far beyond the walls of our Consistories.

Elegance, Awareness, and Empowerment: The Loyal Ladies Make a Statement!

140th Annual Session | United Supreme Council, Southern Jurisdiction, Prince Hall Affiliation

The Loyal Ladies came out in their finest for The Empowerment Brunch, held on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the Sheraton Birmingham Hotel, demonstrating that elegance and purpose make a powerful combination!

Under the inspiring theme “Empowering Women, Inspiring Hope,” the ladies adorned themselves in beautiful attire, pearls, and colorful fascinators in recognition of the many forms of cancer that impact families and communities across our nation.

Through the Cancer Awareness Fascinator Challenge, the Orients represented various cancer-awareness colors, transforming a beautiful gathering into a meaningful expression of unity, compassion, sisterhood, and hope.

Each color told a story. Each fascinator carried a message. Together, these remarkable women honored survivors, remembered loved ones, raised awareness, and celebrated the courage of those continuing their fight against cancer.

The Empowerment Brunch was more than an occasion to dress elegantly and enjoy fellowship. It was a reminder that awareness inspires action, sisterhood provides strength, and hope brings us together.

We salute the Loyal Ladies of the Southern Jurisdiction for their continued commitment to service, compassion, and making a difference!

A SPIRIT-FILLED WORSHIP SERVICE AT THE 140TH ANNUAL SESSION!

The Morning Worship Service of the United Supreme Council, Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Prince Hall Affiliation, Southern Jurisdiction, did not disappoint!

With historic attendance, the atmosphere was filled with faith, fellowship, praise, and an unmistakable spirit of unity as members, families, and guests gathered in Birmingham, Alabama, for this memorable occasion.

Under the spiritual leadership of SGIG Rev. Robert Jemerson, 33°, Grand Prior, the service was a powerful expression of our commitment to faith and brotherhood.

Rev. Robert Rudolph delivered a stirring and inspiring sermon that resonated throughout the assembly, while the uplifting voices of the choir, accompanied by the soulful sounds of the saxophonist and keyboardist, created an atmosphere of heartfelt worship and celebration.

From the pulpit to the pews, the energy was undeniable! The overwhelming attendance and enthusiastic participation demonstrated that, even after 140 years, our faith remains strong, our fellowship remains vibrant, and our commitment to God remains steadfast.

What a tremendous way to celebrate the spiritual foundation of our historic 140th Annual Session!

🎺🥁 HBCU NIGHT WAS A TREMENDOUS SUCCESS! 🥁🎷

The United Supreme Council, Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Prince Hall Affiliation, Southern Jurisdiction, USA, Inc., celebrated HBCU Night in grand fashion during its 140th Annual Session in Birmingham, Alabama!

The outstanding musicians of Stillman College brought the house down with that BIG BAND SOUND! From the powerful brass section to the electrifying percussion, the energy was contagious, and the excitement filled the room!

Our members proudly represented their respective Historically Black Colleges and Universities, celebrating the rich traditions, lasting legacies, and unmistakable spirit of HBCU excellence.

The evening was filled with great food, music, dancing, laughter, and, most importantly, genuine fellowship and fraternal camaraderie.

More than just a night of entertainment, HBCU Night was a celebration of our shared heritage, educational excellence, culture, and the enduring bonds that unite us.

A special thank-you to the talented musicians of Stillman College for an unforgettable performance and to everyone who helped make this evening such a tremendous success!

Onsite in Birmingham, Alabama, for the historic 140th Annual Session of the United Supreme Council, A.A.S.R., Southern Jurisdiction, Prince Hall Affiliation, the delegation from the United Supreme Council, Northern Jurisdiction, P.H.A., led by Sovereign Grand Commander Dr. Melvin J. Bazemore, 33°, made an impressive showing!

Dressed in their distinguished regal purple blazers, these Illustrious Brothers brought more than elegance and style. They brought a powerful demonstration of Fraternal unity, mutual respect, and the enduring bonds of Scottish Rite Masonry.

Their presence was a visible expression of brotherhood that transcends jurisdictional boundaries, reminding us that while we may serve under different jurisdictions, our shared principles of Brotherly Love, Fellowship, and Service continue to unite us.

The Northern Jurisdiction didn’t just show up—they showed out!

We extend our sincere appreciation to Sovereign Grand Commander Bazemore and his delegation for their presence, fellowship, and the love and respect shown to the Southern Jurisdiction during this historic occasion.

HONORING OUR PAST, PRESERVING OUR LEGACY

On the eve of the 140th Annual Session of the United Supreme Council, Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Southern Jurisdiction, Prince Hall Affiliation, Sovereign Grand Commander Dr. Corey D. Hawkins, Sr., Esq., 33°, accompanied by the Elected and Appointed Officers of the United Supreme Council, traveled to the final resting place of Past Sovereign Grand Commander and Most Worshipful Past Grand Master S. J. Bennett for a solemn wreath-laying ceremony.

This meaningful occasion served as a tribute to the life, leadership, service, and enduring legacy of one of our distinguished predecessors.
