OUTlaw and HLSA are hosting a 1-day SafeZone certification course at the law school on Friday, October 14, 2022, in room 127. This course will engage in activities and lectures that involve critical discussion of gender and sexuality issues & participate in tabletop discussions designed to create inclusion for all genders on campus and in the community.

The Ben F. Jones Chapter of the National Bar Association has invited all diverse 1L, 2L, and 3L students to apply for their annual Judge D'Army Bailey Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded in honor of D'Army Bailey, a pioneering Black Memphis attorney, judge, and a spearhead for the creation of the National Civil Rights Museum.

The LSAC PLUS Program at Memphis Law School is designed for currently enrolled college freshmen and sophomores from diverse and underrepresented backgrounds. The program will help students develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed in the law school application process. Participants will have the opportunity to network with practicing lawyers, court representatives, current law students, and law school admission counselors.

Summer program for high school students interested in advocacy and legal careers. Deadline to apply is March 15th.

STAI is a free program, students receive a $250 stipend, and the opportunity to win additional awards and scholarships.

The program is in its 3rd year and will be fully virtual for Summer 2022.
