Fuller Seminary Bay Area

Fuller Seminary Bay Area Equipping missional leaders for the work of the Kingdom! Why Fuller Bay Area? Glad you asked. We are here as the tangible presence of an idea that was planted in the 1970s with a handful of people who had been deeply involved at Fuller in Pasadena and came to the Bay Area, bringing with them a passion for theological education, a love of the gospel, and a commitment to academic excellence.

By Will Stoller-Lee, Fuller NC director:

On Labor Day 2019, it seems appropriate to honor the tireless labor and faithful vision of the team of friends and colleagues who turned a humble triple-wide modular office into the hub of the most expansive regional campus for Fuller Theological Seminary for close to 20 years. The Menlo Park campus will be closing at the end of the month after 45 years of ministry training throughout the Bay Area and Northern California. Over the past few weeks I have joined with the loyal remnant (Gerardo, Anny, Jim and Victor from IT, and the amazing St. Patrick’s facilities’ crew headed up by Trinidad) in the bittersweet task of cleaning out, tearing down and moving the modular office. With a nod to Joni Mitchell, “they paved paradise and put up a parking lot.” But through it all we have also remembered the faithful service of the staff, the rich times of mentoring, classes, prayer and discussions that took place in this building, the commitment of students and alums to follow their vocational calling, and the global impact of this learning community on the Kingdom.

Grateful for the safety and brave actions of our Fuller Bay Area student Mason Williams and praying for the long road to recovery for Mason's family and the entire Santa Rosa community.

SANTA ROSA, CA (October 10, 2017) – Mason Williams, associate pastor of student ministries at Redwood Covenant Church, had to break through a door to rescue his sleeping 83-year-old grandmother from her house shortly before it was destroyed early Monday morning by the deadly Tubbs Fire that has devastated the area. Williams had arrived at the San Francisco airport late Sunday night after visiting his sister in San Diego. [ 380 more words ]

In your mercy and grace, Lord, we pray for those in Las Vegas. May your protection and healing be upon those who are injured, and may your peace and love be on those friends and families who lost loved one.

Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayers.
