Being able to capture such special moments in peoples lives is not something I take lightly. After graduating from Western Michigan University in 2019 studying film and media, I became fascinated with social media, design and aesthetics. Had the best time with + Matt capturing their engagement photos around downtown Grand Rapids. 🤍💍

We stopped by the Blue Bridge, the very spot where Matt proposed to Sarah. We also made sure to incorporate Tin Can into their engagement session, where their love story first began. 🥹

I love when couples incorporate meaningful places into their engagement photos. It makes the session feel so uniquely them!

Their wedding day is going to be an absolute blast, and I’m excited to be the one documenting it all. Thank you, Sarah and Matt! Wishing you both the best as you finish up wedding planning. 🫶

Spent the evening at Aquinas College with Jaden + Trey creating this dreamy, engagement inspired session alongside Daisy, the vintage Jaguar owned by Meagon + Kelly of (No, these two aren’t actually engaged… they’re just naturally this iconic in front of the camera. 🤍)

Meagon + Kelly created 2 Girls & A Jag as a way to bring something cinematic, nostalgic, adventurous, and a little edgy into people’s biggest moments. Whether it’s an engagement session, wedding day, or just creating something beautiful and different, Daisy has a way of making every shoot feel like a scene from a film.

So grateful to collaborate with such creative people and bring this vision to life. ✨

I am so incredibly proud of these two MSU graduates! I had the best time capturing such a special season of life for them. And seriously… how cute are they?!

Ending the session at the party store felt so fitting. This whole shoot was packed with nostalgia and all the little moments that make college years so unforgettable.

Cheers to the memories, the friendships, and these two amazing girls. Go Green! 🎓

These two are just easy. No overthinking, no awkwardness, just them being themselves and it works so well!! Also they look sooooo good together. 😊

I’m beyond excited for their wedding this October. If it’s anything like this session, it’s going to be such a good day! Feeling really lucky I get to be the one to capture it! 🤍

Congratulations to my sister for graduating with honors from Davenport University. I am so proud of her and so thankful I got to capture such a special milestone! ❤️

A little brag because she deserves it. Alex earned her degree while working full time in her field, and somehow still shows up as the best sister, daughter, and friend. She makes everyone around her feel seen and loved, all while taking care of herself and handling everything with so much grace.

Truly the definition of driven and grounded. And yes, she is absolutely stunning too. 😍

I had the sweetest time photographing a proposal on the beach in Holland last night. The fog rolled in soooo thick, but it made the whole moment feel even more intimate. Also… LOOK AT THAT RING! 🤩💍

Quinn planned such a thoughtful proposal at Tunnel Park Beach, and Annie’s sister came prepared with the perfect dress for some photos afterwards. I am so grateful I got to be there to witness and capture this moment for these two!

Congratulations to these girlies! I had the absolute best time walking around Michigan State University with these four and I’m so thankful I got to capture such a monumental moment for them. 🤍

I say this every year, but I truly wish I had graduation photos from when I graduated from Western Michigan University in 2019. It just wasn’t as big of a thing back then, and now I see how special it really is. After all the money, time, and dedication you put into your education, there’s no better moment to document your achievement. 📸🫶

Thank you so much to everyone who has booked with me for graduation sessions this spring. I’m heading back to MSU tonight and I’m feeling so grateful and excited!! Congratulations to all high school and college graduates. 🎓😆👏

We leaned into that “getting ready with the bride” feel and I LOVED IT. 🤍💍💄

Kara Howard | Makeup Artist | Michigan from Blush Beauty - HAIR & MAKEUP | MICHIGAN has the dreamiest collection of bridal pieces, and ♡Chels♡ and I were fully obsessed with this beaded pearl capelet moment. Isn’t she stunning!?

Also stepped a little outside my usual style and played around with a nylon overlay on the lens for some of these… it gave everything that soft, dreamy film feel and I’m kind of into it. 🤍 What do we think?
