This portion of the event is designed to help our community better understand how decisions are made at the Capitol and how we can become more engaged in local government and advocacy efforts.

May Week is approaching! Join us as we celebrate higher education, wellness, and social action! Registration is preferred for all events!!

May Week is a national program of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. that was created at Delta’s second National Convention in 1920 at Wilberforce University. May Week is set aside each year for programs, highlighting academic and professional achievements and the events which emphasize the importance of higher education in the community, especially for Black women. Activities are created through the Sorority’s Five-Point Programmatic Thrust, which was established in 1955.

Delta Day at the Capitol is a day of advocacy and collective action to ensure our voices are heard where decisions are made. Participants will have the opportunity to meet with their Minnesota Senator and State Representative.
