JOB TITLE: Arena Concession Supervisor

DEPARTMENT: Arena Events

REPORTS TO: Arena Food & Beverage Manager

DATE: January 1, 2026

JOB OBJECTIVES:

The Concession Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of center points of sale, including meeting food quality standards, maintaining staffing levels needed to operate the concession areas, training and ensuring compliance with all local, state and federal food and beverage laws.



ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Oversee the operational functions of each concession stand including developing procedures for orientation and training part-time Cooks, Stand Leaders, Stand Workers, Runners and Volunteer Groups.
Coordinate ordering, receiving, & inventory control activities with South Point warehouse staff.
Develop staffing levels & schedules for each Concession Stand.
Monitor compliance levels with all South Point, city, county, state and federal agencies.


MARGINAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Creation, development and preservation of relationships with new and existing clients, promoters, sponsors, vendors and all levels of internal staff.
Reinforce day-to-day operations, assuring the coordination of plans, programs and events.
Assists in timely and effective response to requests received from internal departments, external organizations, agencies, departments and individuals; maintains the integrity of the department and South Point in all forms of communication and personal contacts.


JOB STANDARDS:

High School Diploma or equivalent
3+ years comparable F&B Supervisory experience
Basic computer skills
Superb people, leadership, oral and written communication, multi-tasking, organizational and team-building skills required.

Apparently there are some big changes coming to College Athletics November 1st.
College athletes will now be allowed to bet on professional sports. This also states that members of Athletics will also now be allowed to bet on Professional sports.
What is your feeling on this?

The NCAA Division II and Division III Management Councils announced it has accepted the recommendation to allow student-athletes to bet on pro sports.
