Alpha Kappa Lambda (AKΛ) at Rutgers University is a great organization for you to develop a strong brotherhood and leadership skills. The Fraternity of Alpha Kappa Lambda is a collegiate social fraternity for men founded founded in 1914 at the University of California, Berkeley. Today, it operates approximately 44 chapters and colonies and boasts 27,000 initiated members. The motto of Alpha Kappa

Members of the Alpha Kappa Lambda Fraternity have taken pride in philanthropy and participated in events for various causes, including: Dance Marathon, American Cancer Society-Relay for Life, and It’s On Us. As the newest fraternity on campus, new members of Alpha Kappa Lambda have a great role in shaping this organization for future new members. With that comes a great responsibility and many opportunities to take lead and implement decisions. This liberty is not reserved for many other student organizations. Alpha Kappa Lambda fraternity is not only a great way to enhance your college experience, but subscribe to a degree of brotherhood that lasts a lifetime.
