This week, Iona University Education students hit the road to visit the John Cardinal O’Connor School, a Catholic school in Westchester that serves students with learning differences.

Through our field studies, pre-service teachers get exposure to a wide variety of learning settings. By seeing specialized services and innovative learning environments firsthand, our students bridge theory with practice—and begin to imagine new possibilities where every child can learn and thrive.
