No dominance here. Dominance in domestic dogs is contextual, and quite rare.

This is attention seeking due to lack of mental stimulation. The fact that the behavior stopped during the walk is proof - she needed the stimulation.

Dog trainer of 24 years here.
Chris is a great vet, but that does not make him a behavior expert.

Lola needs more walks, stuffed and frozen Kongs, lick mats, brain puzzles, tricks training.
All the leash did was suppress the behavior by using a form of punishment. It may not work in the long run. Even if it does, she still needs the above-mentioned.
