We were in the neighborhood today so we wandered onto campus. At the bookstore, I met these two wonderful students working there and I asked them what would they like to see if they met a Barnard 2002 alum? They answered: “Someone who lives their life with compassion” (Cameron) and “Someone who is excited about their future while respecting their past.” (Alillia). I just love Barnard students.

Anyone else see this? Apparently co-ed schools are favoring men because they’re worried too many women are being admitted relative to the percentage of admitted men.
“At the University of Georgia, admissions officers automatically gave male candidates an additional 0.25 points (out of a possible score of 8.15)”

Declining male enrollment has led many colleges to adopt an unofficial policy: affirmative action for men.
