Advocacy Coalition at Columbia University We volunteer in several Upper West Side, Morningside Heights, and Harlem soup kitchens and food pantries, assisting clients in several different ways.

Advocacy Coalition is a group of student volunteers who are concerned with understanding and trying to improve the conditions of New York City’s homeless and low-income residents. We do everything from writing basic referrals to advocating on clients’ behalf within the New York City welfare system. We are always looking for new, dedicated and hard-working volunteers.
