created history this weekend. 2 sold out shows at and Bhangra, Punjabi and culture and people showing up unapologetically as them.

I can’t describe the energy at the concert other than electricity that brought people together. And when there is so much division in the world, was able to bring people together

And I got to wear diljit earrings again :)

Did you know that every time I meet a client, it’s like we cook up a new shoot every time - see what I did there!?!

No 2 clients shoots are the same, they all have different stories, elements, styling. I sit down with every client and curate a shoot just for you. I also make a shot list so that the day of the shoot everyone is fully prepped and everything runs efficiently and also is fun!

Do you make lists?

I do but instead of making a long list of everything I need to do (which is always so long and never ending), I now make a list of things as I remember them but then prioritise 2-3 things at a time

That way I don’t get too overwhelmed and I actually get things done.

Normally I also have things that happen in the moment that I have to deal with … curve balls that keep me on my toes!

How do you get things done - daily, weekly, monthly?

I was once told I was TOO MUCH!

It made me stop and recoil and not in a good way - it made me question who I am and how I come across. Is my joyfulness too much? I can’t say I’m an extrovert but I generally am confident. I also was someone who still got nervous going into new rooms (not as much any more - I need a different post on that!)

But either way after processing the comment I realised I am enough and I love who I am. As long as I don’t hurt any one, I am not rude and I do things with grace and love, I’m good!

I want each and every person I come across whether it be as a personal connection or as a photoshoot client that they can also be who ever they want to be!

Happy 11 year NYC anniversary to me!!!!

I still can’t believe it’s been 11 years! Today always makes me stop and think about all the crazy, amazing, fun, and also challenging moments I’ve had while being here and sometimes I have to pinch myself.

NYC has truly given me so much. It’s a vibrant fast moving city with the most interesting people with fascinating stories

It allows you to be who ever you want to be as long as you work hard you can do anything!

Thank you to all of you who have been a part of this journey so far. I am grateful to each and every one of you.

What do you want? Really want?

What do you want to feel?

When I realised that what I put out there is what I get back, things shifted for me.

It might sound corny but if you put love out there, you will get love back, and if you don’t, let it go with love

If you put positive energy out, you get positive energy back, and if you don’t, move aside and let it go

Think of it another way, if you’re a business on social media, what you put out there is what you sell!

So make sure your photos and posts are what you want your potential customers to see.

Don’t get me wrong, things can get really hard sometimes and it’s not always easy but try it and see if things shift … even a little bit.
