Sleep apnea is a serious sleep disorder that occurs when a person's breathing is interrupted during sleep. People with untreated sleep apnea stop breathing repeatedly during their sleep, sometimes hundreds of times. This means the brain -- and the rest of the body -- may not get enough oxygen.

Just got the opportunity to meet Astronaut Steven Smith, a veteran of four spaceflights and seven space walks. One thing he shared was that NASA rejected his application 4 times! They even suggested that he stopped applying. But it took him 10 years and his 5th application to be accepted by NASA. How many of us were told the word "NO" just once and gave up? Persistence can take you a long way!
