Looking back at an incredible finish to a powerful summer! 👶🍼

University of Pittsburgh Army ROTC Cadet and nursing student Olivia Supp recently wrapped up the Army Nurse Summer Training Program at Walter Reed—and her final day was one she will never forget. CDT Supp had the opportunity to provide supportive care to a laboring patient and assist with a live birth and delivery, describing it as “the most wholesome last day! 😊”

Throughout her clinical rotation, CDT Supp gained hands-on experience across the ER, OR, and pediatrics—mastering clinical skills from IV insertions to emergency interventions. Reflecting on her time, CDT Supp shared: "I strengthened my communication and teamwork skills by collaborating with nurses and medical students... advocating for patients, and providing emotional support to patients, families, and soldiers injured during wartime."

CDT Supp perfectly embodies what it means to lead with both excellence and empathy. Pitt Army ROTC is incredibly proud of her dedication to serving and healing! 💙💛
