This week’s is CDT Ryan Miller!

CDT Miller is Company Commander of D. Co! He’s an Information Systems major at Duquesne University, originally from Abingdon, MD. After graduation, Ryan will be joining the Transportation Unit in Beaver Falls, PA.

Best Advice: “Reach out to cadets who excel in skills like Land Nav. Learn the tips and tricks they don’t teach you in class!”

Favorite Memory: “Doing an ambush in the pouring rain. It was tough, but my platoon embraced it, and we turned it into one of our best tactics lanes.”

Favorite MRE: Chicken noodle soup all the way! 🍜

Thank you, CDT Miller, for all you do at TRB, and good luck in your future endeavors.

Meet another CDT David Kish, our B. Co XO and OTM!

CDT Kish is a business management major at Robert Morris University and has certificates in logistics and operations. Hailing from Cranberry Twp, he’s branching as an Ordinance/Logistics officer in the National Guard.

Best Advice: “Have fun when and where you can, embrace the suck, and build those ROTC friendships—because they’ll be some of your best.”

He’s in it for the people, the friendships, and the adrenaline rush from range days. Just don’t mention Ravenna unless you’re ready for a rant.

Hobbies: Gaming, shooting, and deep dives into history.

Favorite MREs? All nasty. Just add hot sauce and survive.

This week’s is CDT Madalena Roberts!

This semester, CDT Roberts served as A Co.’s OTM. She attends the University of Pittsburgh and is wrapping up her studies in Russian. Originally from Tennessee, she’s branching Active Duty as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) officer.

A high-speed cadet through and through, Madalena has consistently led by example, never shying away from hard work or new challenges.

Her best advice?
“Get involved! Ask about different opportunities. You are your best advocate.”

Favorite ROTC memory: Attending CTLT in Korea!

Favorite MRE: Spinach fettuccine (with powdered creamer, of course — pro tip!)

Good luck, CDT Roberts! We’re proud of you.
