Join us for an engaging lecture-recital with the OU Graduate Flute Ensemble as we share the story behind our NFA experience—from choosing repertoire and building a collaborative ensemble to discovering new ideas, approaches, and inspiration at the National Flute Association Convention.

Expect live performance, behind-the-scenes stories, a rehearsal demonstration, and different things we brought home from NFA.

Wrapped up the semester the best way possible — with a flute studio party full of laughter, good food, and great memories 🎶🩵

A few faces are missing from this photo, but we are so grateful for this amazing group of musicians and all the hard work, growth, and music-making we shared this semester. From rehearsals and performances to all the little moments in between, it’s been such a joy to be part of this studio.

What an incredible performance today by Noah on the Griffes Poem (and Debussy’s Syrinx) with the Oklahoma Community Orchestra! 🎻✨

Watching Noah perform on stage was truly inspiring, and they represented themselves so beautifully alongside so many talented musicians from around the area.

Congratulations to our FIVE graduating flute studio members! We are so proud of all of your hard work, artistry, dedication, and growth throughout your time in the studio. Thank you for the music, memories, laughter, and leadership you brought to our flute family.

The OU Graduate Flute Ensemble has been selected to perform at the National Flute Association Convention in Portland, Oregon this August 2026 — one of the most important events in the flute world, and a huge honor for us. Being invited to perform at this convention is not only an amazing artistic opportunity, but also a meaningful step in our professional development as performers, educators, and future leaders in music.

We’re so proud to represent the University of Oklahoma on a national stage and share the work we’ve poured our hearts into. This opportunity truly means the world to us. 💛
