Hello everyone and welcome to the Notre Dame Football season for 2026! We as the Notre Dame Alumni Club of the San Francisco Bay Area would like to welcome you to the first game watch of the 2026 college football season. Our club will meet at Chief Sullivan’s this season for game watches. The bar has refreshed their offerings this year and has a new sheet of offerings specifically for our game watches!

Last night our Club Treasurer Brian Redmond ‘06 opened up his stunning SF home to welcome our local ND ARC Community for dinner. Along with our Board President Christine Thompson ‘00, we celebrated a talented and accomplished rising ND sophmore who met our local community for the first time! What an incredible fairwell party to the new Bay Area Domers who head to South Bend for their freshman year! Special appreciation to our Board Member Keara Meyercord for opening up her beautiful home to celebrate their achievement! Thank you also to Board Mmebers Steve (our former President), Natassia (Scholarship Board Member) and Kaitlyn Cline (Current Student Board Member) who welcomed these students and their families as well! Our club hosted its annual Bookstore Basketball Tournament at Saint Ignatius College Preparatory on Sunday, June 28th! Special appreciation to our Board Member Jim O’Meara for coordinating this wonderful event the past few years! You do an exceptional job!
The tournament provided a great opportunity for Notre Dame alumni and friends to come together, raise money, network, and get a great workout in! Thank you to all of the captains and participants for making the event a great success! Congrats to the Gray Team captained by Brianna Leon ‘15 for winning the tournament!

Our Board Member Olivia Roth ‘12 got a volunteer promotion from the SF Bay Area Club Board to representation with ND Womens Connect, an affinity group within the ND Alumni Assocation that focuses on events inspired and supported for women!

After welcoming her daughter in 2023, Olivia was eager to get out, reconnect, and meet with other Notre Dame women. The ND Women Connect Shared Read seemed like the perfect fit. When our SF Club needed help organizing, Olivia happily stepped up to lead and the SF Club has been participating in the Shared Read ever since. In Fall 2025, when Olivia’s son was born, she leaned on other club members to help host a book club gathering. As an ND mom of a young family, Olivia engages with other alumnae by keeping family at the center. She hosted the SF Club’s first ever family-friendly game watches for all the noon Eastern Time kickoffs, the perfect time for Pacific Time toddlers to enjoy the Fighting Irish, well before afternoon nap!
Olivia is always looking for inspiration from other NDWC coordinators, including LA’s pumpkin succulent decorating, Chicago’s playground series, and Minnesota’s “net-walking.”
We can’t wait to see what Olivia in her new role supported by the San Francisco Bay Area Club will do next! So grateful for her time and energy! Go Irish ☘️

Our annual UND in the Embarcadero in SF joined over 80 alumni to network, mingle and be educated! We heard about the ESTEEM graduate program with our guest speaker, collaborative ideas from local leaders with the ND Tech Forum ( celebrating 25 years!) and ways to grow from the founders of the ND Silicon Valley Angel Group. Join our club, the forum and the group! Together, combining clubs under the veil of the Golden Dome, we remain an unstoppable alumni network! Go Irish!
