The NWISA season is underway with our first event of the season this weekend, the 2023 NWISA Women’s Clinic! Over 45 female sailors make the trip to Olympia to learn from some amazing coaches. We’re in for a great year!

The Sailing Foundation and co-organizer Sarah Hanavan invite you our Youth Sailing Leadership Symposium on Saturday, January 28 at C*C Seattle (Big thanks for their support!)

For all coaches, instructors, jr. sailing volunteers, directors, board members, team leaders, etc. involved with youth, high school, and/or college sailing.

$20 for students (HS and college) and $40 for non-student adults. Register at link below.

Two main tracks: program management (staff, classes, camps, boats, partnerships, generating revenue, fundraising) and team management (coaching, structure, routines, growth, communication, performance, drills, Techschore).

To facilitate more socializing and connections, we are building in break times and providing food, including an early dinner.

We have a fantastic keynote speaker, Brady Sih, who is a former Stanford University Sailing Team member, Olympic 470 sailor, current volunteer parent lead/advisor for Corona Del Mar High School Sailing Team, Newport Mesa HS Sailing Foundation board member, and corporate consultant.
