We love working with innovative and creative agencies like Resource Area for Teaching (RAFT) who are always coming up with new ways to support project-based STEM education in the Bay Area. Let's all work together to achieve 30,000 kits distributed!

Thank you @synopsysoutreachfoundation for stepping up to support our kit distribution to title 1 schools! Our goal is to serve over 30,000 students during the shelter-in-place, especially those who may not have internet access. You're welcome!
Read one teacher's appreciation of how the Foundation has helped her school's upcoming science fair - as published in the Vallejo Times Herald:

I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the Synopsys Outreach Foundation for its continued support of our annual science fair. For several years it has been providing our 4th- and 5th-grade students with science project display boards.

With the donation of boards, our students can display their science projects proudly. Using a display board to show off their great science projects gives students pride in their work so much better than a cut up cardboard box! Many of our students' projects go on to win awards at the Solano County Fair.

To top it off, Synopsys Outreach Foundation graced us with a $1,000 donation this year to use for our science fair and other science related expenses. We feel honored that our school was chosen from the many schools in Solano County. Last year we opened our science lab and as a result, have accrued extra expenses that this donation will help us cover.

Dan Mini students are excited about science learning. Teachers are excited because we know that students engaged in science learning are improving in the many skills needed to be successful in the 21st century.

The public is welcome to come see Dan Mini's Amazing Science Fair, Thursday, March 21, 2012, from 6-7:30 p.m. in the multi-purpose room.
