- Dr. Barrera's Depression, Technology, & Latino Health Lab
- Dr. Bunge's Children & Adolescent Psychotherapy & Technology (CAPT) Lab
- Dr. Leykin's Choice-making And Computer Technology for Unipolar Depression (CACTUs) Lab

BITs is so honored to be hosting Angie Joerin, X2's Director of Psychology, and PAU Alumni Milagros Escoredo, Clinical Psychologist, who train Tess (a chatbot) to deliver mental health support on Wednesday, February 14th from 12-12:45pm in Wisniewski Hall (3rd Floor, PAU Calvin Campus). Internet Treatment and Mood Disorders

WHAT: Dr. Christensen will be discussing her work with utilizing technologies to disseminate evidence-based psychological therapies to individuals and communities impacted by mood disorders

About the Speaker: Dr. Helen Christensen is the Director & Chief Scientist of the Black Dog Institute and a Professor of Mental Health at the University of New South Wales and the immediate past President of the International Society for Research in Internet Interventions. She is also the Chief Investigator for the NHMRC Clinical Research Centre for Excellence in Suicide Prevention.
Her areas of interest include the evaluation of internet applications and online programs for the prevention and treatment of mental disorders, the quality of websites, the integration of new technologies into health care, the development of evidence informed policy and methods to measure impact and dissemination.
