Please join us in congratulating Worshipful Master Brandon Jacks and the newly installed officers as they begin a new year of service to our Lodge, our Brethren, and the Pasadena community.

A Rough Ashlar is a stone taken from the quarry in its natural state. Before it can become part of a structure, it must be shaped and prepared for its intended purpose.

In Freemasonry, the Rough Ashlar represents the beginning of a person's journey through life.

No one starts finished.

Skills are learned. Character is developed. Wisdom is gained through experience. The person you are today is not the person you were five years ago, and it will not be the person you are five years from now.

Modern culture often celebrates finished products. We see accomplishments, milestones, and success stories long after the hard work has taken place.
