The Association of Professional Schools of International Affairs (APSIA) is a non-profit educational organization that brings together the world’s leading graduate schools of international affairs. With 67 members and affiliated programmes in Asia, Europe, and North America, it is your one stop shop for information on graduate school and careers in international affairs. Some of APSIA’s member schools include Harvard University, Columbia University, Yale University, Stockholm School of Economics, National University of Singapore, Seoul National University, and Sciences Po Paris.

Created in 1989, APSIA is dedicated to the improvement of graduate education in international affairs. They connect prospective students and employers to member schools, so that they can capitalize on the skills that an APSIA education provides. APSIA graduates work for peace, expand prosperity, build organizations, lead governments, and protect their fellow citizens.

By the numbers, APSIA schools have educated current heads of state and senior cabinet officials in 12+ countries; rank consistently among the top five producers of U.S. Presidential Management Fellows and Boren Fellows; and welcome more than 80% of Pickering and Rangel Fellows each year. APSIA schools deliver the skills and mindset to ignite transformation in a complex world.

APSIA also offers information on numerous fellowships/scholarships and career opportunities through their website, apsia.org. Plus, year-round events give you a chance to get your personal questions answered. Join them in Singapore (Nov. 5), Seoul (Nov. 7), Tokyo (Nov. 11), and online (Nov. 21).

Meet Santi, our incredible Director-General. When he’s not busy planning UPMUNC, you can find him missing his pet cow, channeling his inner Linsday in Mykonos or skateboarding to the Old City. See you all in two days!

Meet Ellie, our Chief of Staff. She may not like chocolate, but she does love reading 18th century literature.
