Hey guys for anyone looking to get involved or complete some community service hours I have a great opportunity for you!
Remember playing on the playground or with your favorite toy? We want to create that feeling of free, fun and open play for families, children living with and without childhood cancer. In partnership with With Purpose, a youth-led non-profit organization dedicated to finding safe and effective treatments for childhood cancer, we invite your organization to help volunteer for a special event. By activating young voices, you help children and parents live, play and communicate with meaning.
On Monday, February 19, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. the Play With Purpose day will be held at Smith Memorial Playground in Fairmount Park. The day will feature fun activities, music and free play areas for young children and their families throughout the Greater Philadelphia region. Guests will learn about the therapeutic value of play and its many benefits to childhood development. Volunteers can join us for the entire event, assist in leading activities throughout the day or volunteer for 2 hour shifts.
