Mission Statement:
The Hispanic Student Dental Association (HSDA) Chapter at the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine (CUCDM) aims to create a unified voice for oral health students and faculty and seeks to promote and advance the oral health issues of the Hispanic community in New York. We intend to act as the leading voice for Hispanic oral health and to provide service, education, advocacy, and leadership for the elimination of oral health disparities in the Hispanic community, with the ultimate goal of optimizing oral health of the Hispanic community.

Our HSDA chapter here at Columbia focuses on improving the oral health of the community of Washington Heights. Today we donated almost 200 OHI bags with toothpaste, toothbrushes and dental floss to the Dos Puentes Elementary School. Thank you to the Youth Education Outreach Committee and for making this event possible!!
