As we kick off our 2026–2027 President’s Project, Paving Pathways for Education, we’re starting close to home by supporting educators within our own sisterhood!

OPhiA alumni teachers have shared their classroom wish lists with us, and they’re now available on our website.

Whether you purchase a book, classroom supplies, or another much-needed item, every contribution helps an OPhiA educator start the school year with more of what they need to support their students.

Announced at National Convention in Richmond, this year’s National President’s Project will bring members across the country together to support students, educators, schools, literacy initiatives, mentoring programs, and more.

Every road to OPhiA looks a little different—and along the way, most of us have had a teacher, professor, advisor, or mentor who helped pave the way.

We're excited to introduce Erika Carrera, our new Operations Director; Amy Conway, our new Chapter Support Manager; and Sara McAllister and Elisabeth Bolton, our newest Chapter Health Specialists.

As part of our updated organizational structure, this team — along with returning Chapter Health Specialist Bella Griffin — will help strengthen our programs, support our collegiate chapters, and continue building an exceptional experience for members across our sisterhood.

Graduate Spotlight: Lauren Rubinstein - Alpha Upsilon

Lauren is graduating with her Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration with a Major in Digital and Visual Marketing and a Concentration in Sales.

After graduation, she is starting full-time with TheBulletin.io as an Account Manager and moving to Chattanooga, TN!

For Lauren, OPhiA has been one of the best parts of college! It has brought her friends for life and helped her grow as a leader. She had the privilege of joining the Alpha class as a freshman, serving as membership director and president during her time there, and helping the chapter grow its presence at UTK. She has so much love for her sisters and can’t wait to see what they all do next!!

Lauren's favorite service project was making blankets for Project Linus! The Alpha Upsilon chapter did this project a few times, and she always loved it because they all got to talk and have fun working together!

Lauren would love to be an active alumna and stay connected with other OPhiAs!!

Congratulations Lauren! Omega Phi Alpha is so proud of you! 💙💛🐝🎓
