đ±đŹ Congratulations, Dave!
Congratulations to PSU History alum David-Paul (Dave) Hedberg (M.A. 2017) on the sold-out Portland premiere of his debut documentary, The Seeds of Peace, at Tomorrow Theater on the 81st anniversary of Hiroshima. đ
The film tells the story of Hideko Tamura Snider, who was just ten years old when Hiroshima was bombed in 1945. In the decades since, she has gathered seeds from trees that survived the blastâmore than 55 of those âpeace treesâ now grow in communities across Oregon, living symbols of resilience, remembrance, and hope. đłđïž
