While he was only 35 when he passed away, he spent his last years engaged with Freemasonry, fascinated by its lessons, history, and symbolism. So enraptured was he that he began weaving Masonic themes into his works, pieces that still enchant today....

The Grand Chapter Royal Arch Masons proudly supports "Project Lifesaver." Project Lifesaver is the premier search-and-rescue program operated internationally by public-safety agencies, and is strategically designed for “at-risk” individuals who are prone to the life-threatening behavior of wandering or eloping due to autism, Alzheimer’s disease, dementia or other cognitive conditions. As every Royal Arch Mason knows, a Chapter is only as strong as their members. we are constantly discussing, debating, and sharing our points of view on how to grow and expand our beloved York rite and perpetuate its teachings to a larger group of men and Masons. we desire this because we believe our towns, cities, counties, states and our country as a whole would be a better place because of it....

"Thy Word is a Lamp Unto My Feet and A Light Unto My Path." -Psalm 119:105

This Psalm beautifully illustrates the importance of God's guidance through uncertain times. Times where you may not be able to see around you because life has taken a dark turn. You vision for the future might be dimmed due to financial strains or feeling trapped in a job that isn't serving you anymore.

The author, who's name is lost to history, gives the reader a glimmer of hope. God's promises will guide you through whatever you may be facing. The promise of light in the darkness! a beacon of hope in the storms of life!

In the ancient world, oil lamps were small and handheld. They did not illuminate the whole horizon, but rather provided just enough light to see the immediate next step and avoid stumbling in the dark. This represents God's guidance for daily, present decisions. We may not know what the entire journey will be like but we can rest assured that God will guide us safely through to the end.

The reader is encouraged that God's Word serves as an essential guide for navigating life. Just as travelers in the dark rely on light to stay safe and reach their destination, believers rely on divine wisdom to make morally sound choices and understand God's will. We can lean on the wisdom of the scriptures to light the way through the dark places in life and bask in the glory of His promises during the bright times. Mark Well!
