Please don’t feel like you need to get your house in order before asking for help. A good organizer isn’t there to judge you. We want to understand what’s not working and help you find solutions that work for you and your family!

I’m always looking for ways to make daily tasks take fewer steps.

For our family, that means keeping our go-to breakfast foods, lunch stuff and lunchboxes in the same general area instead of storing everything where it technically “belongs.” It’s a one-stop shop.

Less running around the kitchen. Less thinking. And hopefully, slightly easier mornings.

What about you—what would be in your “get the kids fed quick and out the door” station?

It’s amazing how neatly lining things up and putting similar items together can make a shelf of shorts, medical supplies, or paper towels almost look pretty. It’s not critical for organization but is appealing for those of us who feel stressed out by visual clutter and can be motivation to keep putting things away properly. It’s also my favorite way to leave a client’s space - a little prettier!

The goal: easy to put away! ✅

If I’m in the mood, I’ll fold things perfectly—and I’ll always do that for clients.

But for clothes that can be wrinkly, and when it doesn’t really matter which one I grab? Not folding makes putting laundry away SO easy.

Tiny kitchen tip: Maximize the space behind your cabinet doors.

Since my drawer space is limited, I’ve hung up my measuring cups and spoons for years—I need my drawer space for other things!

With a small kitchen every inch counts!

Clutter attracts clutter.

Sometimes clutter keeps coming back because the system is too hard to use. But sometimes? We/I just get lazy.

One thing lands somewhere it doesn’t belong, then another…and pretty soon the whole space feels like a perfectly reasonable place to drop stuff. No one would notice one more thing in the pile!

Sometimes clearing and resetting the space is enough to break the cycle.

Once it looks intentional again, I’m much more likely to keep it that way.

True confessions- I’m a messy traveler, but this dollar store fix helps me stay a little tidier, because otherwise my suitcase is chaos during trips! I actually have 2 stacked on top of each other and depending on the size of my suitcase can put something else on top.
I’d love ideas on how you stay organized when you travel because I could use a few more!
