In recent weeks, Cecily Rodriguez, Associate Director for Research and Organizational Innovation and facilitator of a number of trainings here at IPG-Richmond, traveled to and throughout the interior of Guatemala as a part of a cross-institution collaboration between Virginia Tech Institute for Policy and Governance, North Carolina A&T State University and Universidad del Valle de Guatemala.

While there, the group met with a group of traditional healers and midwives, leadership at public hospitals in Guatemala and Esquintla, met a group of physical education teaching students at the Universidad del Valle - Altiplano (The Mayan highlands), and did interviews with a class entitled Social and Emotional Health for Life & Leadership.

We're thrilled to see regional and international collaborations between and the impacts they make in the communities they serve both here and abroad.
