In their newly published work appeared in the most recent issue of Scientific Reports, an NPG journal, OU researchers demonstrated a novel quantum-coupling phenomenon that can be potentially transformed into future electromagnetic devices. The first author of this work is graduate student, Yuzan Xiong, who is co-advised by Dr. Zhang and Dr. Qu. The experiment takes advantage of the unique setup in Dr. Zhang’s lab at Oakland University, which allowed for conducting studies that led to the discovery. As a GrizzHacks 5 organizer, you’ll have the opportunity to push your technical, communication, and leadership skills. There will be opportunities to work closely with industry professionals and build up your resume.
We are actively seeking individuals for the following teams:
Technical: Help identify software we can use for GrizzHacks 5, as well as plan the technical logistics for our weekend-long event. If you’re interested in researching, testing, and implementing new technology, this team is for you!
Communications: You’ll be working to market GrizzHacks to students across multiple platforms. There will also be opportunities to host episodes of GrizzTech Talks, our self-produced podcast! If you’re comfortable in front of a microphone, or have awesome promotional ideas, we want to hear from you!
