What a joyous and inspiring weekend! This was my first commencement at RIT, and I cannot tell you how meaningful that is to me. I'm honored to have shared these days with our graduates. I am incredibly proud of you all.
Thank you to our wonderful speakers and honorary degree recipients and alumni award recipient for their inspirational messages and examples. And thank you, too, to the hard-working team of faculty, staff and volunteers that helped to make the weekend flow so smoothly.

Through this consortium, RIT will coordinate a nationwide network of partners to deliver STEM education and workforce development programs that reach students and educators from elementary school through postdoctoral study. We had a fabulous time in New York City last night with more than 300 of our RIT alumni, parents, prospective students, and friends. It was terrific to meet so many examples of the Tiger spirit — a spirit that’s stronger than ever. I’m so honored to work with all of you to continue RIT’s upward trajectory. Thank you NYC for supporting RIT and for helping to share the power of this great university with the world.
