💜 PHILOCTOBER: PHILOS GO PURPLE WITH PURPOSE! 💜

Sometimes the strongest women are those who have walked through life’s hardest moments and still find the courage to stand tall, smile, and inspire others. 💜

This Domestic Violence Awareness Month, our Mu Beta Sigma Philos are wearing purple for a reason especially close to our hearts.

Today, we lovingly recognize our very own Philo Shaneel Wilson, a domestic violence survivor whose strength, courage, and willingness to share her story remind us that our past does not define our future.

Philo Wilson, your story matters. Your voice matters. And most importantly, YOU matter. Thank you for reminding other women that their story doesn’t have to end where the hurt began. 💜

We also recognize our Philo President Kyshia Shackles, whose love and support remind us what true sisterhood looks like. Sometimes, simply knowing someone is standing beside you makes all the difference.

To every survivor, whether you’re sharing your story or still finding your voice, know that you are seen, loved, and never alone.

💜 This is the beauty of sisterhood. Women standing with women, lifting one another up, and reminding each other that there is always hope.

The Mu Beta Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. is proud to launch Phase II of our 4th Annual Operation Big Book Bag initiative — the Hunger Relief Campaign: “Clear the Tab!”

A lunch balance should never stand between a student and a meal.

With the continued rising cost of food, gas, and everyday necessities, many families are experiencing financial challenges that can make keeping up with school meal costs difficult. Through Clear the Tab, Mu Beta Sigma is helping reduce outstanding student lunch balances for students in Williamson County, Texas, while providing meaningful relief to families and school communities.

Our goal is $1,922, and we are asking our supporters to consider making a $22 donation toward this important cause.
