School of Medicine Research Administration Training Certificate Program

This in-person cohort-based program uses a blended learning model with mini-lectures and short videos along with interactive group activities and discussions.

Process to Attend
Space is limited for the cohort. To ensure a valuable and meaningful experience for all attendees, we are using an application process to select participants.

Program Overview
-In-person, cohort-based training program.
-Blended learning (mini-lectures, short videos, interactive group activities, discussions).
-Goals: Build skills and relationships among research administrators.
-Modules: 6 total, delivered in nine 4-hour bi-monthly workshops.
-Location: Aggie Square

At UC Davis Health, specialists are expanding treatment options for people with severe emphysema through a new clinical trial (called BREATHE-3 https://studypages.com/s/bronchoscopic-release-of-air-trapped-in-hyperinflated-emphysematous-lung-study-3-breathe-3-558289/?ref=gallery). The study offers access to an investigational implantable device designed to reduce lung overexpansion and improve breathing.

Chinh Phan, director of the UC Davis Interventional Pulmonology Program, is the lead investigator of the trial.
