KTE at Saginaw Valley State University
Kappa Tau Epsilon stands for love, unity and friendship, with an aim at academic achievement and philanthropic endeavors. Kappa Tau Epsilon collaborates with other organizations on campus, both Greek and non-Greek, as well as organizations in the surrounding communities. Kappa Tau Epsilon is recognized annually on campus. Kappa Tau Epsilon won the title of Homecoming Champion in both 2012 and 2013 and placed in the top 5 in 2017. We have been named the "Greek Organization of the Year" "Outstanding Philanthropic Award" "Outstanding Leadership Award" "Greek Program of the Year" "Organization of the Year Award". In 2019 we received the title of “Outstanding Fraternity and Sorority Life Program”.
KTE is passionate about philanthropies. Our two main philanthropies are: AVON Speak Out Against Domestic Violence and HPV Awareness, both of which we hold annual events for on campus.
Kappa Tau Epsilon’s sisters have a strong off-campus presence, too. We regularly volunteer at Underground Rail Road Women’s Shelter, Amazing Grace Animal Shelter, and Chippewa Nature Center, just to name a few.
