GlobeMed at Bethel University is a student run non-profit that promotes global health equity with social justice and sustainibility at its core. Run by the GlobeMed National Office, Bethel's chapter is one of 46 other university chapters nationwide that works to involve students in applicable and meaningful ways to improve the health and well-being of people in poverty. Grounded in pragmatic solidarity, GlobeMed is about partnership. Each chapter is partnered with a grassroots organization across the globe, working together to develop projects that are appropriate and impactful for the community. At the university level, students develop and inspire their campus in ways to help fund and bring awareness to their partner organization and their project. Bethel is now joining hands with university students nationwide, advancing the movement for global health equity.
