Salem State Music Faculty Recital! Thursday, October 15 at 7:30 pm.

The Salem State music faculty present their fall recital in a program that ranges from classical to jazz. Faculty performers include Jean Danton, Steve Lacey, Cyndi Napierkowski, Ashley Offret, Beverly Soll, Eileen Yarrison, and Holly Zagaria. Salem State students Max Beauregard and Jacqueline Hernandez will join them on the program.

Admission is free, although donations at the door to support the music program are welcome.

From Salem to Nashville.....we're happy to share that Ross Livermore '07 is in town for a performance this weekend and will be stopping by for a visit with students on Friday, October 16.

You can catch Ross at 12:15 pm at Music Industry class in CC275. Or, stop by the caf at 1:30 for coffee followed by a conversation with Ross in the Recital Hall.

Did you know that our dance workshops are free and open to everyone? Here is the schedule for the rest of the fall semester! All workshops take place in the O'Keefe Complex in the Dance Studio/Room 303. Located at 225 Canal Street.

All concert take place in the Recital Hall, 71 Loring Avenue. Parking is available directly across the street.

Guitar America 250: Revolutionaries and Rockstars is guitarist Aaron Large-Caplanโ€™s thoughtful survey of 200+ years of song, verse and musical experimentation. The program includes new arrangements of traditional pieces, blended with covers by Paul Simon and Eddie Van Halen, alongside classical repertoire. Poet Richard Hoffman provides spoken word. This journey through the soundscape of a diverse nation is a unique musical reflection on the American experiment.

Tonight at 7:30 pm! ScreenDance RoadShow at the Sophia Gordon Center, 356 Lafayette Street.

Produced by Motion State Arts, ScreenDance RoadShow is the only traveling short dance film series in New England that showcases contemporary creative voices exploring choreography for the camera. Each season, a diverse program of dance films from around the world are screened at venues across New England.

Suggested donation of $10 at the door to support the Dance Honors Society. Students with ID and under 18 always admitted free.
