In early 2012, a $10,000 grant from the Eastern Bank Charitable Foundation was awarded to the Enterprise Center at Salem State University to launch the Young Entrepreneurs of the North Shore (YENS). Targeted at young business owners, YENS aims to provide resources, support and a referral network to allow these business owners to reach out and connect with each other. YENS also hosts networking events for business relationship building and workshops for business development in all areas.
