Check out this day in the life vlog from Missio alum Evan Fowler who graduated in 2017 and moved to South Dakota in 2020 to be a Lead Pastor at Common Ground Church in Rapid City. Evan graduated debt-free and field-ready to jump into ministry right away following graduation. We love seeing the Lord at work throughout the nation through our Missio grads!

Meet Missio alum . Following her call to ministry at a young age, Macie attended Missio College where she followed the steps to become an International Worker. She got licensed with the CMA, spent her senior year interning in Jordan, graduated in 2022 and became ordained, and she now serves full-time in Africa. She desires to bring the hope and restoration of Jesus to the community as she joins her team working within an urban setting, specifically with at-risk women and children. It was an honor to bless Macie and see the Lord at work through her at our Dessert Fundraiser last month.

We are huge fans of Macie!

At our dessert fundraiser last Tuesday, we had the pleasure of announcing and commissioning Efrain Perdomo as Missio College's Academic Dean. Efrain has been on the Missio team for 5 years, and we have no doubt that he will lead our school and our student body with wisdom, grace, and a heart driven by the Holy Spirit. Congratulations Efrain!

Alumni Spotlight 🎓🌎

Meet Brandon Miller (2017)! He is the Pastor of High School Ministries at Salem Alliance Church. Missio helped prepare him for this role by providing a strong theological foundation that he can adapt to middle and high school students. His favorite Missio memory is the tight-knit community that supported him through times of doubt, and many of his classmates have become part of his global ministry network with connections across the world.

Brandon encourages future students to consider Missio for its unique blend of practical training, credentials, and a debt-free approach. Through Missio, students gain valuable certifications, are licensed and ordained by the Christian and Missionary Alliance (CMA), and are equipped for successful ministry.

Alumni Spotlight 🎓💡

Aly Pavlova (2022) is the Director of Operations at Heart Church on Fox Island, a role she feels well-prepared for thanks to her time at Missio. The combination of classes and practicums allowed her to serve in many areas of the church, giving her the practical experience needed for her current position. A highlight of her time at Missio was a trip to France, where she learned alongside new people and gained valuable insights for the future. Aly encourages future students to stay the course, reminding them that while the journey can be tough, it’s always worth it. She also stresses the importance of investing in relationships with your cohort, as these bonds can last a lifetime. Aly is grateful for Missio’s impact on her life and ministry!
