This may be Marksmen’s first event partnership with Prodigal Road Ministries, but the relationships behind it go back many years. We want to extend a very special thank you to our good friends Mark and Mandy Baublit, Butch Dixon, Aaron Dixon, and Olivia Maddox. Their longstanding friendship, encouragement, support, and genuine love for our Executive Director, Anthoney Farmer, and our Board Member, Art Lenard, have meant more to us than words can adequately express.

Season finale at La Cantera Golf Club to close out another golf league season. Thank you to Vega Brothers Plumbing, MAVN Golf, Venture Plumbing TX, Texas AirSystems, and BELDON Roofing Company for sponsoring the door prizes and helping make the final event a great one. Congratulations to Zac Glasser on another win. Thanks to everyone who joined us this season. Kudos to Andrew Rendon for the work that goes into organizing them month after month. We're already looking forward to the next one.

After the site walk, the firefighters had the opportunity to walk through the current state of their future station and see the progress firsthand. Seeing where the spaces are taking shape, understanding how they'll function, and beginning to visualize daily operations in the building always brings a different perspective to the project.

It's rewarding to have the people who will ultimately occupy the space walk through and see it come to life. Moments like these are a reminder that we're not just building a facility, we're building a place that will serve those who serve the community.

As we get ready for students to head back to campus, our team got to add "back-to-school video extras" to the resume for a day. The team joined Lytle Primary's back-to-school video to help welcome students back for the new year. Grateful to be included and to be part of a community that makes the start of the school year something worth celebrating.

We had a full theater invasion this past Saturday for our Demo Crew Goes Despicable event! It was great to see so many team members and families come out and spend the morning together. Thanks to everyone who joined us and helped make it a great turnout.

Jobsite lunch at our City of Schertz Fire Station project with the field team, trade partners, and firefighters. We had the opportunity to serve lunch and spend some time with the people helping bring this project to life and the people who will one day serve the community from this station. We were honored to volunteer at the San Antonio Food Bank and contribute to their mission of fighting hunger across our region while supporting critical relief efforts for communities impacted by the recent natural disasters in and around San Antonio.
