The Federalist Society is a group of libertarians and conservatives interested in the current state of the legal scholarship and analysis. It is founded on the principles that the state exists to preserve freedom, that the separation of governmental powers is central to our Constitution, and that it is emphatically the province and duty of the judiciary to say what the law is, not what it should b

e. The Federalist Society seeks to both promote an awareness of these principles and to further their application.

Below is a link to a survey that has some event ideas that we've come up with, and we want your input. Please select as many (or as few) ideas that get your attention so we can put on some amazing events this year. Thank you!

Hey everyone! Milbar will be tabling in the writs on Monday and Tuesday this week to make holiday cards for Service Members who are deployed this holiday season. Please stop by to show your support and make a card.
Did you know that over 190,000 people will be deployed overseas this holiday season? That's 190,000 families who will not be spending the holidays together. Milbar will be collecting cards as they participate in Channel 93.3's BIG THANK YOU to send cards overseas.
Milbar will provide all the materials, and they will have example cards, as well. All it takes is five minutes of your day to make someone else's day.

Dear FedSoc Members,

Below is information regarding an event for USD Pride Law, which we are helping to promote:

We are just two days away from the 28th Annual San Diego AIDS Walk & Run and are still looking for members to join our team! The walk will be this Saturday, September 30th from 7:00 am - 9:00 am. We will also be going out for brunch in Hillcrest following the walk.

Remember, the AIDS Walk & Run helps ensure that people living with HIV/AIDS in our community receive the services and support they need. Funds raised benefit dozens of HIV/AIDS service and education programs throughout San Diego County. Come out to help raise money for this amazing cause and to have a great time with your fellow classmates!

If you would like to sign up for the Pride Law/USD Pride Team please register at: http://events.thecentersd.org/goto/USD. (Registration is $35). Just scroll down the bottom of the web page and click "Join my Team."

On Saturday, September 30, 2017 individuals, teams, social clubs, local businesses, schools, universities, and faith organizations will gather to remember the many who were lost to AIDS and to raise vital funds to support all of the San Diegans living today with HIV.
