Congratulations to DLE credential alum Vanessa Stone for being selected as teacher of the year for her school. She shared the following statement: “I am a 4/5 Dual first-year teacher at Cherokee Point Elementary in San Diego Unified. DLE has prepared me for everything this school year has thrown at me. They equipped me with the skills and knowledge needed for my role and helped equip me with the knowledge to be able to find a school that aligns with DLE’s values and my teaching philosophy: asset-based education, student-centered learning, and providing love and care to ALL students.” 🤍
