To support and prepare master of social work students at Texas State University to meet the behavioral and mental health needs of military personnel, veterans and their families. P25195, $479,035.00, as well as the College of Applied Arts and the Graduate College. Competitive stipends are awarded to MSW students who are committed to meeting the behavioral and mental health needs of military personnel, veterans, and their families. These students received specialized training and field placements that will prepare them to work with the high need military community who face the challenges caused by multiple extended deployments and combat-related stresses.
