EC Spotlight! Meet Kristen — our VP of Membership! 💫

"I grew up in Maryland and was part of the Iota Omega Chapter at the University of Maryland. I graduated in 2013 with a B.S. in Environmental Science, which led to my career as an Environmental Consultant specializing in wetland ecology. I also recently earned my Master’s in Soil & Water Sciences from the University of Florida — I love all things nature and science!
My husband and I live on a bit of country property in Effingham County with our 3-year-old son and our giant labradoodle. When I’m not exploring outdoors, you can find me enjoying craft beer, diving into a good book, or tackling a DIY project. After moving to the area in 2014, I joined the Savannah Alumnae Chapter and quickly got involved. I’m so thankful for the years of fun, friendship, and connection this chapter has brought me!" 💗🩵

EC Spotlight! Meet Alysa — our Alumnae Collegiate Relations Chair! 💫

"Hi everyone! I'm Alysa Bletscher, initiated in Spring 2009 with the Gamma Pi Chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha at the University of Georgia. As a legacy, I chose ZTA because it immediately felt like home, and I’m grateful for the lifelong friendships that began there. I’m also deeply passionate about breast cancer awareness, as it’s a cause that has personally touched the women in my family. I live on Wilmington Island with my wonderful husband and our energetic almost two-year-old. When I’m not chasing my toddler around, I love reading, tap dancing, enjoying great coffee, and planning events and décor projects. By trade, I’m a nurse who has most recently led large-scale health technology implementations. I’m thrilled to serve as the Alumnae Collegiate Relations Chair and can’t wait to support and connect with our collegians!" 💗🩵
