πŸ‘‹ It’s time to meet another member of the IEA team!

Meet Maddie, our Research Assistant at the Institute for Engaged Aging!

A Clemson University graduate with a B.A. in psychology, Maddie works on the Active Mind Study, helping participants navigate their cognitive training programs. In the future, she hopes to continue her research interests in addiction medicine and recovery programs in a clinical psychology Ph.D. program.

We asked Maddie:

πŸ’œ What do you enjoy most about your work?
Teaching participants new cognitive training exercises and seeing their excitement as they learn something new!

πŸŽƒ Favorite thing about fall?
Enjoying the crisp fall weather while cheering on Clemson and the Buffalo Bills! πŸˆπŸ‚

Every discovery about aging begins with people willing to participate.

Research participation can help investigators better understand memory, brain health, caregiving, physical health, sleep patterns and what helps us live well as we age.
