Nate Dax Memorial Bass Open The goal of the “Annual Nax Dax Memorial Bass Open" is to raise money and awareness for organizations that have played instrumental in Nate’s life.

These organizations helped Nate be able to do the things that he loved for as long as he was physically able to. Nate Dax was an avid bass fisherman who also had to overcome the struggles associated with muscular dystrophy. While earning his degree in Business Administration, Nate was the president of the bass club at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. On September 24, 2016, Nate passed away unexpectedly at the age of 25 due to complications of his muscular dystrophy. His family and friends began this tournament in order to raise awareness, bring everyone together, and celebrate Nate by doing the very thing he loved the most, fishing!
