Shippensburg University Bachelor of Social Work Research Club Research Club is a student-led organization that engages in an annual research project that focuses on the core competencies of the social work profession.

The Social Work Research Club is a student-led group that engages in an annual research project that investigates and evaluates a specific topic relevant to the social work profession. Students work together to implement research methods that are learned in their social work coursework to create a research project that includes data collection and data analysis. The ultimate goal of research club

is to present the research at a national or international professional social work conference each year. Additionally, research club aims to provide a space where students can practice what they are learning in class in a stress-free real world setting. One of the goals of research club is to allow students to gain research experience before entering the social work profession.
