Shippensburg University Children's Literature Book Club

Shippensburg University Children's Literature Book Club Where future teachers meet to discuss literature and tap into their love of reading while developing a new understanding of their student's needs.

Our goal is to let future teachers explore what they do as readers. We read and discuss literature, analyze our personal preferences for reading, reflect on classroom practices, and modify these practices on the basis of what we have learned.

Just a friendly reminder we have a meeting Monday, March 21 at 5 pm in Shippen 220. For this meeting, please bring a few of your favorite children's books. We will be doing a "book tasting" and taking a look at a wide vareity of books from different genres to different grade levels!

I need your help! I am collecting resumes of undergraduate work, so if you have a draft or a finished version of your resume, please send it to me via my email. I would like to post these in a classroom during our Education Fair (March 1). This fair is for high school students and their parents, it is an informal showcase of the department. Hope you are all have a great student teaching/semester!

Hello all! Just a reminder that we are meeting tomorrow at our regular place and time, Shippen 220 at 5:00pm! We are having our "book tasting" session, so don't forget to bring books to share!
